Celebrating the life of
Joseph Andrew Austin, Sr.
October 31, 1934 - March 21, 2024
Joseph Andrew Austin, Sr., 89, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his home. He was born October 31, 1934, to the late Winton and Marie Evans Austin. Mr. Austin was an electrician for the Local IBEW #508.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Winton Austin, Donald Austin, Delores Diamond, and Joyce Sharpe.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Austin, Jr (Geana Rouchi), of Savannah, and Jaudon Austin (Vicky) of Pooler. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Hunter Austin, Colby Austin, Leslie Holcombe, and sister-in-law, Ann Austin.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, with Visitation one hour prior to the service at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery, 1600 Wheaton Street, Savannah, GA.
